مجلس محافظة ذي قار يصوت بالأغلبية المطلقة على قرار انشاء "صندوق التنمية السياحية في محافظة ذي قار" والذي أعدّه وقدمه مركز البوصلة للحوار والدراسات . 

In an effort to maximize economic resources, focus on the tourism sector, and reinforce the province's tourism identity, the Dhi Qar Provincial Council voted by an absolute majority to establish the "Dhi Qar Tourism Development Fund," a proposal prepared and submitted by the Al-Buosala Center for Dialogue and Studies.
